Charlotte Gilbar of Wyoming ASCD shares that the affiliate is working with its State Board of Education and other stakeholder groups on an audit of state standards to help address classroom teacher concerns about the load of the standards. Also, several members were awarded a literacy grant from the state to support literacy K-5.
