@Monika Vereb, 2022 ASCD Emerging Leader, is the Region 1 Outstanding New Principal for the Fairfax County, Virginia Schools. Schools nominate their new principal directly to the Region level where finalists for Outstanding New Principal are selected. Finalists move on to the Leadership Team level where the annual FCPS Outstanding New Principal is selected. The grand awards and announcement happens in June.
