Hello ISTE Commons!
My name is Nick Pinder and I'm a staff member on the ISTE Standards Team. I'm very excited about the ISTE/ASCD merger and being able to join this community
I'm conducting a survey to explore the connection between pre-service teacher technology preparation and new in-service teacher technology experience, and I need your help!
To participate in the survey, please click this link. The survey takes around 12 minutes to complete.
New teachers are in a unique position to share their recent teacher preparation experiences and provide valuable feedback on how that preparation translates to classroom experience. The effectiveness of technology preparation programs can make a massive difference in student outcomes. ISTE wants to learn from new teachers experiences to work with teacher preparation programs to better prepare new teachers to use technology effectively and equitably.
As a thank you, ISTE is providing free access to an ISTE U course titled "Digital Literacy in the Classroom" click here to learn more!

- If you're a teacher in your 1st - 3rd year of teaching, I'd appreciate if you could take the survey!
- If you're a veteran teacher, principal, school leader, or work with any new teachers, I'd appreciate it if you could share this survey with any new teachers in your school/life. We want everyone to help with this to spread the word as widely as possible!
