Lauren Jewett EL19 is named a 2022 winner of the inaugural Excellence in Equity Award in the special education division from the American Consortium for Equity in Education.
Her nomination highlighted work she’s done around equity and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) with Understood, National Board for Professional Teaching Standards, Afterclass New Orleans, and her school. Nominations are now open for the 2023 awards.
