ASCD Champion in Education @Marnie Hazelton is appointed Superintendent of the Englewood, New Jersey Public School District.
With a strong background in curriculum and instruction and using data to improve instructional practices, Dr. Hazelton values a collaborative approach between parents, teachers, and administrators in educating the whole child. Strengthening relationships with all stakeholders will undoubtedly lead to improved student outcomes. “The soil is just as important as the seed.” Marnie is also a 2010 ASCD Emerging Leader and the 2009 ASCD Outstanding Young Educator.
